Massage Therapy Uses
Most external analgesics are traditionally formulated with methyl salicylate,
and more recently with capsaicin or other salicylates. Most act as "counter-irritants"
which, when applied on the spot where it hurts, stimulate the cutaneous
sensory receptors causing an inflammation or irritation of the skin. This
hot, sometimes painful, burning sensation temporarily counters the original
pain. Side effects of these "counter irritants" can be redness
of the skin, blisters, or even burns when over used or improperly used.

Before
Massage
- Enhance your deep tissue massage therapy by applying KOOL 'N FIT®
on specific "trouble" areas (i.e. legs of cyclists).
- To activate its effects and to penetrate, wait until skin is dry again.
- Apply your massage oil/lotion to begin your deep tissue therapy.
- Effects: Relaxes muscles; increases circulation; allows pain free
deep tissue work. You can work deeper and break up adhesions easier.
Very beneficial in myofacial malfunctions.
After Massage
- Enhance the therapy work you just finished by applying KOOL 'N FIT®
again to those areas.
- Your patients will appreciate the extra care you give.
- Effects: Relaxes muscles for hours; prevents therapy soreness; invigorates
and makes your patients feel good.
Pre-Event Sport Massage
- Use KOOL 'N FIT® before sports exclusively. Lotions and most massage
oils will clog pores, inhibiting the sweating process.
- Using KOOL 'N FIT® in pre-event sports massage will help eliminate
the risk of cramps and lower performance.
- Effects: Better warm up and stretching. Circulation is increased,

Post-Event Sport Massage
